The following curriculum vitae is not complete but gives you a sense of the diverse and blessed nature of my life’s experiences.


Vedic Sampradaya Education/Empowerment

Advaita Vedanta:

  1. Ramana Maharshi Lineage, with Sri H.W.L. Poonja for seven years (1990-1997) in Lucknow, India who transmitted the Advaita View and many Vedic Sciences. Also significant time with Lakshmana Swami and Annamalai Swami, both disciples of Ramana.

  1. A decade immersed in India learning Ayurveda from the highest of Vaidyas to Himalyan Yogis to Research Ph.Ds  to Grandmothers to Spice sellers on the streets.

Law

  1. Studied Constitutional Law with Yale Kamisar, adviser to the Thurgood Marshall and William Brennan Supreme Court, University of Michigan Law School, 1985-87

  2. Part of a small team that created Law in Sacremento, SB577, which allowed the practice of alternative medicine without the risk of government persecution


Military

  1. Starting around 7 years of age my best friend Greg and I wanted to be astronauts, and we determined the best way was to get an advanced degree in Engineering and be a Marine Corp pilot

  2. So at 20 we entered the Marines, unfortunately right at the moment when budgets for Astronaut programs were being hacked, and yet it was a profound experience that I am very grateful for

Spent my first two decades:

  1. Living, hunting, fishing, exploring, meditating, delighting, and merging into Shamanistic pursuits in the forests, fields, swamps, meadows, lakes, dunes and rivers of Northern Michigan

  2. Building houses with my Father and my two Brothers

  3. Engaged in every sport that came along: undefeated in over 100 wrestling matches; made the All-State Soccer team twice in High School; won in Track all the way to State Championships
